Autone set out to eliminate spreadsheets from retail operations entirely. Their challenge was creating an interface that matched this ambitious vision: one that made inventory management feel natural.
The focus wasn't solely on functionality. Autone needed to build trust and make it easy for retail teams to start making smart decisions.
The platform uses AI to help retailers avoid empty shelves, leveraging that intelligence to increase revenue through clear, actionable insights rather than overwhelming data dumps.
We collaborated with Autone to design the onboarding process of their platform while improving the existing design system to account for the speed and scalability demands of a Series A product.

In order to solve complex problems effectively, we operated as part of their team. Instead of staying at arm’s length like most external vendors, we integrated into their organization to understand the context behind every decision and priority.
We were in their Slack channels, following real conversations, attending ceremonies and planning sessions, and making ourselves available to people across the organization.
By building real knowledge of their business, understanding their competitors and market positioning, and learning their ideal customer profile and what mattered most to them, we were able to make better decisions.
This gave us a complete picture of what was actually happening, allowing us to move quickly and spot problems or opportunities that might otherwise have been missed.

By reducing friction and providing contextual guidance, we helped users feel confident and in control from their very first interaction with the platform.

The main challenge was to balance supporting an ongoing product in production at the same time redesigning the product to meet world-class standards.
We balanced the demands by addressing requests from various stakeholders, including the Head of Design and C-levels, while ensuring continuous improvement and on-time delivery.
We developed a compelling design system that tells the client’s vision and connect with their audience thorugh impactful visuals adn clear messaging.
