Their crypto-native extension, Perle Labs, takes this a step further by using blockchain to reward human contributors, ensuring every piece of input is both valued and verifiable.
Our challenge was to translate this vision into a brand and experience that reflect the balance between human intelligence and cutting-edge technology.

To separate its mission of building intelligent systems from the growing movement of human-powered labeling, the team created Perle Labs — a space where contributors could take part in AI development and be rewarded through blockchain.
We helped turn this transformation into a visual identity that feels alive and human at its core — open enough to invite participation, and structured enough to earn trust. The result reflects a new kind of intelligence: one built not in isolation, but in collaboration, where humans and AI grow side by side, and every contribution becomes part of something greater.

To begin, we built a mood board inspired by the crypto world, exploring visual references that could bridge technology, trust, and community. A new typeface was chosen to align with this evolving narrative, setting the tone for a refreshed identity.

From there, a distinct visual language emerged: gradients and glossy 3D elements paired with touches of glassmorphism, blending the cool precision of the “lab” (blue) with the warmth and energy of “Perle” (orange).
